The months passed. February had come again, and Lulu kept getting her green teas. It was another cold morning when her mom dropped her off at school. She decided to walk down the hill to the bus loop to see if she could wait inside. She heard a noise behind her, someone had just slipped down the icey woodchips. Lulu turned arround to see who it was. That girl, it was that mystery girl. And she was holding a gas station coffee cup too. As soon as Lulu turned arround, the girl said, "hi, i'm sammy!" The way she said it was so sweet and innocent. Lulu told Sammy her name, and they became instant friends.
Lulu and Sammy talked about all kinda of things that morning, but the topic hey most talked about was manga. Sammy said she liked the mangas paradise kiss and fruits basket. Lulu told her she liked Ultra Maniac and Kodomo no Omocha. That night, Lulu went to her mom and begged to go to the bookstore and get the first five volumes of fruits basket. her mom was excited that Lulu wanted to read, so they went out right after dinner.
The next day, Lulu found out that her friend, Gabi, was also friends with Sammy, whom she now called Sammy-chan. Lulu also met Sammy-chan's other friends, V-san (nickname mad be Lulu), and Nisha-san. Sammy-chan was a cat spirit, like Lulu, while V-san and Nisha-san were wolves. Lulu also found out that Sammy was bi-sexual that day, but she didn't think much of it.
Over the next three days, Lulu and Sammy got to be great friends. Lulu was extremly happy. The girl she wanted to know most was friends with her. One morning, Lulu say Sammy-chan payin for her french vanilla latte at the gas station. Lulu ran up and hugged her from behind. Sammy said, "the only person that gives this good of hugs is of course my dear Lulu." Sammy-chan spun around and and kissed Lulu softly on the cheek. Lulu thought that the kiss didn't mean anything, because they were good friends. Little did she know, her inner self was about to come out and go crying to the world.
Lulu was happy that she kept most of the friends she had in 6th grade. Too bad her parents didn't like them. Her best friend, Gabi, well, her mom thought she was a freak. Her other friend, Carrie, wasn't allowed outside. She had to study. She was insistant on getting into MIT. Lulu had almost no life. All she did was cheerleading. She had done cheerleading for about 4 years, which she hated because none of the girls liked her. They called her goth and emo.
Seventh grade started off fine, but became horrible rather quickly. Lulu had a geography teacher that hated her, a science teacher that hated her, an annoying mth teacher, and a horrible spanish teacher, who she didn't like. She only semi-liked her english teacher, Mrs. Constantinople. She seemed nice, well, at first.
School went from bad to worse. Not only did Lulu dislike ALL the teachers, she hated the work. Math was too easy. Science hads too much. Geography was too hard. She didn't do any of her english homework except reading. In her class, you had to read 500 pages a week to get an A, which Lulu didn't mind; but she prefered writing. She got grounded for bad grades on her report card and was punished almost every weekend for a teacher calling home about something stupid. There was a funny pattern. everytime Lulu had plans, or wanted to do something, she would get grounded and wasn't able to do that.
As a sixth grader, Lulu never fit in. She was honestly worried about what would happen in seventh grade, would she keep the few friends she found, or would she go back to being all alone. Lulu was waiting at the bus stop that dreaded morning. Two kids walked up to her stop, a boy and a girl. The boy was familiar to her. Tyler, his name was tyler. She had gone to elementary school with him for a year. Lulu wondered who the girl was. Before she could ask, the girl said her name was rebecca. The bus pulled up and they all filed on.
In school, Lulu went to homeroom just to find out that she had none of her friends in that crew, they were all down the hall. There was one girl she knew in the class though, Caroline, not the bitch caroline she tried to befriend in sixth grade science, but a kind girl, who liked to run. Lulu started talkng to carolne. "atleast i'll be able to make it through homeroom every day," she thought. since they were in seventh grade, U.A. classes were first and second period. Through those 103 minutes, Lulu barely noticed anyone at all. she was trying to memorize her shedule so she wouldn't look like a loser, pulling it out and checking it. Science was next, period three. In science she reconized someone. They wern't her friend, but she knew them. Max, right, the kid who had a crush on her "best friend". She went up to talk to him, "hey, i'm Lulu. I think i know you," she said. "eew, get away from me," max replied back. Lulu held back tears. how could someone be so mean. This was going to be a long first day.
The classes dragged on, fifty minutes each. Thankfully, the day was comming to an end. English, the last class, period seven. Lulu was somehow put in honors english, though she didn't know how. Yeah, she was good at writing, but she didn't like do homework, or show the teacher her entries in her writer's notebook. She got an F, two D's, and one B in that class last year. Lulu took a steady look around, she wanted to make sure she wasn't the dumbest person in the class. She saw someone who looked lazier than her, and didn't look all to bright either. "well at least i won't have the LOWEST grade in the class," she thought.
It was several weeks befor Lulu even saw the girl again. It was on another morning outside before school again. She wanted to talk to her, but again, the bell inturpted her stride. "i need to really have better timing," she thought.
The year went by, and Lulu never saw the girl again. Although she didn't get to meet the girl she wanted, she still made a few friends that she cared about. maybe middle school wouldn't suck that badly.
True Pesronality:
Cold. Very cold. The february air had a chiling dryness to it. At least Lulu had her tea to keep her warm. Every day for the past three months, she had gone to agas station near her house to get a green tea with nothing in it. It was like her morning ritual. While she stood cold at the front of her middle school, a familiar trashey old car drove up to the drop-off aera. Lulu wondered where she had seen that car before, so she paid careful attention to the cute girl getting out. Her hair was long, and had a blackish blue tint to it, but was definatly natural. She was wearing black tripp pants, and a purple tee with a fairy on it. She had a worn out black sewatshirt on. What mainly intrested Lulu was her Emily the Strange messanger bag. Lulu didn't really fit in with her classmates; The "preppies" thought she was an emo loser, and the "punk-ish" kids thought she was a poser........
All Lulu wanted was to fit in with someone, anyone at all. She tried to muster up her courage and began to walk twords this mysterious girl, but all her confidence was drianed, as the bell suddenly rang. "Damn," Lulu thought, "I was almost gonna do it." Frustrated, she went inside to her 6th grade homeroom.
During her classes that day, Lulu couldn't get the mysterious girl out of her mind. She wanted to talk to her, she looked like a nice person, a person who would might actually accept Lulu for who she is. During lunch period, while Lulu was sitting alone (at the table in the farthest corner of the room), she decided to try and stop thinking about this girl. She probablly wouldn't like loser, poser Lulu anyway.
